Dr. Israel Galtes is a skilled cardiologist practicing at the Cardiovascular Wellness Center in Homestead, Florida. Dr. Galtes was born in Havana, Cuba, and obtained his medical degree from the University of Havana School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency training at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Michael Reese Hospital and went on to complete a Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Mount Sinai, Miami. Dr.Galtes and his amazing staff to the rescue again!! They managed to get me in at this difficult time of year for appointments. On a short notice due to a dental emergency they were able to make time to see me so I could get a cardiac clearance letter. Thanks for being my cardiologist Dr.Galtes God bless you and your staff
I am so happy that I found Dr. Galtes here in Homestead. He is very sweet and caring. He seems to truly care for his patients. I appreciate that he takes time with each patient and answer all my questions. I do not mind the wait because I feel Dr. Galtes is worth it. I have also never had any issue with the staff and find them kind and efficient. I think the new text option is amazing. It is also very convenient that the stress test and monitor placement is all done in office. Unfortunately I can not say the same of the ARNP. I find she lacks bedside manners and is a bit crass. I had requested to be scheduled with Dr. Galtes my last visit but unfortunately was seen by the ARNP. I was not able to ask a few questions because when I asked one, her response was "I don't know" so I felt I would hold my question for my next visit with Dr. Galtes. I would definitely recommend Dr. Galtes's office, I will just make sure to schedule with him next time.

13 minutes ago New Head to toe, bad service. I made a bad review couple weeks ago and today on my followup with DR. Galtes, I was questioned about it, he didn't even let me explain the situation. He ended saying, that I should of find another cardiologist, wich, for sure I will. Good advice, actually. ! Bad place. Make sure you put your heart on good hands .
Dr. Galtes is a great doctor. He takes time to explain to you what's going on, and consult you how to get better. I am a 57 years old suffering with high blood pressure, thanks God for Dr. Galtes and his team.He has everything under control and feeling young again.Highly recommended to everyone.
