Mount Sinai Medical Center, Kenneth C. Griffin Center, Hialeah - Emergency Center and Primary & Specialty Care

Beautiful, clean, modern facility! I visited the Specialty Care Department on the 3rd floor and was pleased overall with the patient care, just thought they could have been a little warmer, more compassionate, etc as well as more attentive to patient care and comfort. They were a little cold. As a Wedding and Event DJ in Miami and South Florida I'm more in tune with this. They could have been a little better in this regard. Still, overall a very positive experience, and I would definitely recommend!

I am writing this review on behalf of Diego Obando Aguirre. He is in charge of managing the Home Health documentation at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Hialeah.. He has been the only one in that position with outstanding professionalism and dedication. Every time we've requested documents from them, Diego has been very helpful, efficient, and genuinely pleasant. He goes above and beyond, answering every email, every phone call,and making sure we receive every document requested. He definitely deserves recognition!

I want to compliment the excellent experience I had at this location. Danny in Nuclear was outstanding in all ways, patient, professional, empathetic and respectful. I also want to add Gilbert Echo Tech who was thorough, communicative and easy to talk too, loved his music to help ease my anxiety. Both fantastic!!!!!

1 Star I just received my statement from Mount Sinai Medical Center and I am shocked. They charged over 7600 dollars for a single emergency room visit. Almost 2000 for lab work and more than 500 for an EKG. I have not even contacted them yet but this feels like theft. There is no clear breakdown or transparency. These prices are far above what is reasonable or fair for Miami. This kind of billing takes advantage of patients and destroys trust in the healthcare system. I plan to dispute every charge under Florida law and the No Surprises Act. Everyone should read every line of their hospital bills and question anything that looks inflated.

Every aspect was fine and professional. The conditions of the center, Dr explain every detail to me and I was very satisfied. I truly recommend Mount Sinai for urgent care in this area.
