About Dr. Alex Parker, MD
I am Alex Michael Parker, a cardiologist specializing in advanced heart failure and heart transplantation. I currently serve as an Associate Professor in the University of Florida Division of Cardiovascular Medicine and serve as the program director for our ACGME accredited Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Fellowship. My post graduate training took place at the University of Virginia, where I completed my residency in internal medicine, followed by fellowships in cardiovascular medicine and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology. I am board-certified in cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology.
