Nine years ago, at the age of 43, I had two heart attacks, within 24 hours, I went into surgery and a stent placed in the main artery to my heart. During a follow-up surgery, the surgeon stopped in middle, claiming they could not repair any more of my damage. The surgeons told me to go home and prepare for my death, giving me one year at most to live. Dr. Schachter is excellent at what he does, he listens, and knows the medications that are out there or in the pipeline, but more importantly he knows what you're going to follow. By giving me a realistic regimen that I would follow, that is realistic to my needs and desires I am here, April 2019 will be 10 years and I have seen 2 of my 3 children graduate and go off to college.
