UF Health Heart and Vascular Surgery at Halifax Health

Dr. Feezor and his team are exceptional. Their expertise is clear and they have great bedside manner. I feel fortunate to have this care in the Daytona area. Prior to this team moving here I traveled to Gainesville for check ups. Thanks UF Vascular at Halifax!

As my fantastic vascular surgeon Doctor Sutton retires I was thrown in to UF heart and vascular with Dr Yacoub after seeing the doctor, who is a very nice gentleman, but to see your doctor and have to go through security checkpoints, where there are Rent-A-cops and have to handle all your stuff search you and your belongings because they are in a building tied to a hospital is flat out BS this is not Nazi Germany no is worth the abuse to be made to feel like a lowlife criminal is uncalled for so time to move on I would not wish the belittlement of the wannabes so-called officers upon anybody on my next visit I will walk right past security and go straight up to my doctors office. If they don't like it they can call DAYTONA PD. I have nothing to hide. I know my rights.

Their front desk scheduling folks are extremely unhelpful and disrespectful. I called in today to see what were the needed items to put together an appointment for my father's referral for vascular surgery along with understanding the rough timeline to when an actual appointment could be scheduled after reviewing his imaging reports & his referral notes. I understood that there are specific policies and procedures that UoF has to take and implement. There are policies and procedures that almost all companies must take. However, I did not appreciate their lack of concern and urgency. Along with that, I did not appreciate that the front desk/nurse kept repeating the policies and procedures, which felt like I was being talked down upon for not "understanding". This lack of basic human empathy and concern is disgusting and clearly should not be represented in a space that is meant for people to come to for help.

The doctors here and extremely nice but I am super upset with my results. I had laser done which didn't work for a few varicose veins so I went and had them removed, it's been almost a year and I had very bad scars. I am upset and wish I never removed the varicose vein now. My legs look so terrible I just don't even know what to do they are my biggest insecurity now

Dr. Khanna and Dr. Meyers are part of the Halifax Health team who has reached the highest rating possible 3 stars from the Society of Thoracic Surgeons. The whole team is amazing.
