Surya Rao

I met Dr Rao while I was rushed into the hospital having a heart attack. He saved my life along with his team. His gentle demeanor was so appreciated at one of the most terrifying times in my life. I had a follow up with his at his Port Orange office this morning. All of his staff that I encountered treated me with kindness and respect. While I wish I didn't have the need for a cardiologist I know I am in very good hands having him as my doctor. He answered all of my questions and concerns to where I felt very at ease moving forward. 10/10

Dr.ROA was courteous and kind as usual .But it took a hour and half wait to see him .when you call the office to set an appointment the phones never pick up even during office hours we tried for two days to make an appointment for my husband who recently had a stroke .we could not get any appointment in the port orange office .we had to drive to orange city . Get a better phone system . We left multiple messages no one returned our calls I will be leaving this office for good

Dr Rao is a very considerate physician. He explains what is going on and repeatedly asks if you have any questions. You don't feel as though you are being rushed. He is a great example of what doctors should all be like. I would highly recommend him to anyone searching for a cardiologist.

Dr. Rao takes the time to listen and answer patients' questions and has the best bedside etiquette. His staff works hard to get patients the testing they require efficiently and efficaciously.

The people involved with my testing were awesome. Dr. Rao's office management is the worst I have ever dealt with. They don't return phone calls until days later, even regarding serious issues.
