Dr.Smith is very caring an respectful to his patience he takes the time out to explain everything to you and he lets you know what he's going to do concerning your condition .he is the second doctor that I have went to who is very caring and listens to your problems you are having. He also answers any questions you may have concerning your condition he doesn't sugar coat anything he tells it like it is.. I thank God for him cause some doctors just brush your conditions off with medications but Dr Smith trys to get u off all these unnecessary medications.. I'm happy to have him as my doctor and may God continue to bless him and his family mighty ways...

Summary: If you want DETAILED information, go to this doctor. He does not brush off concerns and will explain everything to you. Very thorough. GREAT bedside manner. *NOTE: If you know you cannot handle fast talking and unfamiliar vocabulary, then I would recommend asking him to slow down or explain it all in a simpler way. I left not truly understanding the state of my heart no matter how many times I tried to clarify. I am easily overwhelmed by new information coming at me quickly and am not the best advocate for myself. I kid you not, I maybe grasped 1 or 2 things he told me out of the 10+ that he stated. Thankfully, I had my boyfriend there so he was able to sum it all up for me in the car - but only because he has a high vocabulary and processing skills.

I've been a patient of Dr. Smith for years and he is professional, intelligent, and just a great caring good guy. My insurance is changing soon and I will miss him dearly. If you have an opportunity to work with Dr. Smith as your cardiologist, you won't be disappointed at all.
