I haven't come across a physician with the amount of caring and concern as Dr. Burgoyne in many years. From our first meeting to our follow-up surgery appointment he displayed a genuine desire to listen to my issues and keep me aware of his treatment plan. He is excellent and deserves a more than a 5 star review. He is amazing. I had a hernia a repair and never had any need for any type of pain management. The area where the repair was done was tender for a day or so. I was up moving around that night and went back to normal daily activites that don't involve lifting. I haven't had any issues at all. Outstanding doctor.
I had a laparoscopic inguinal hernia surgery done by Dr. Burgoyne a month and a half ago. Very satisfied with the whole procedure: the office personnel, explanations by the doctor, scheduling and the hospital/surgery. For long I was kind of postponing the possibility of the surgery, living with pain and limitations. I realize now that I took the right decision with the right surgeon. I'm feeling well again and that is great!
Had my first appointment with Dr. Burgoyne, general surgeon, found him well knowledgeable in his field. He explained what he will do and why that was best for me. He talked about recovery time and why I needed to follow it for a best recovery. He was very polite and professional in his work. His office staff were friendly and knew their job well. I was greeted upon my arrival. I left there feeling comfortable in the fact that I would be well taken care of.
I was hospitalized for about a month and Dr. Gregory was my surgeon during this time. He was the most professional, understanding and caring physician during that time. Of all the people I interacted with at the hospital, he was the most genuinely caring person I had contact with. He is an excellent surgeon and I was fortunate to be in his care.
