About Dr. Motaz Moussa, MD, FACC, FSCAI
Motaz Moussa, MD, FACC, FSCAI, is a highly experienced interventional cardiologist with board-certifications in internal medicine, general cardiology and interventional cardiology. After earning a medical degree from the University of Alexandria Faculty of Medicine in Egypt, Dr Moussa completed an internal medicine residency at NYU Lutheran Medical Center in New York. He then completed fellowship training in cardiovascular disease at the University of Manitoba and interventional cardiology at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina.

I went to Heart of Florida in October as I was very weak and ran out of breath easily I was blessed that Dr Moussa was the heart specialist on call He made me feel safe and well cared for. He suggested a catherization. I was hesitant because my husband died on the table 29 years ago. he explained everything in detail. I needed time to think. 2 days later I called his office to have it done. Within 2 days he had me scheduled He and his staff at Heart of Florida made the experience so easy. i have hEDS which took extensive testing and was $1000s in materials and a lot of time with a specialist. dr moussa at my first appointment looked me up and down, doubting my diagnosis saying "people with eds are only tall and skinny and you don't fit that". why? bc i'm short and squat? what outdated and archaic information. i have been calling up and up and no one seems to be addressing this with him so for fellow EDSers and POTS, know that is the rhetoric i experienced within this office. in addition in the second i had a nurse tell me to keep him in the room and make sure he doesn't leave until all is discussed. thats ODD. that's WEIRD. is he in a rush? in addition they move appointments around often and at the drop of a hat. sorry your appointment you had scheduled for 6 months is now not available? the nurses here are amazing. if you're reading this, it's not you. thank you for your kindness, how you helped me with my monitor(i was scared and nervous and the woman who helped me is a saint). 3 stars for you ladies. 0 for the doctor.

I really liked Dr Moussa very nice answer all my questions regarding my son, send him for all his testing with no problems or giving us a hard time about it. Staff nice as well. Thank you so much
