I was not allowed to see doctor because I had my 9 year old daughter with me at the time of the appointment. This rule was not written anywhere nor on any voice mail that was left regarding the appointment. I waited 8 weeks for this appointment. Now, since I "had" to be rescheduled, I have to wait another month for an appointment. *Since then the doctor's office called and allowed me to bring my child (less than a week later). I was very impressed with the doctor. I would definitely recommend him, however I would make sure they know you have a child coming with you if you need to bring them along. I change my rating from a 1 to a 5.

Rating appears to be accurate. A physicians rating is based from a collection of patients experiences. A recent conversation with April a staff member in Dr. Al- Dehneh office on behalf of my fathers medical concerns confirmed that being active regarding your elderly parents is necessary. My Father is an energetic individual who is medicated for some health challenges but typically he thrives and does well. A recent change in his eye drops due to pressure in his eyes caused a spike in his blood pressure. So, during his cardiologist appointment he consulted Al-Dehneh which was not ideal. Al- Dehneh didn't originally prescribe my Father the medication and instead of suggesting to my Father to seek his Opthamolgist to try another eye drop he immediately increased the blood pressure medication to an additional 50mg for a blood pressure read of 160/82. Certainly , I find that decision negligent and horrible. Thereafter, I consulted the eye doctor and asked for a different type of eye drop and they provided a sample to try for a week to see if that works. Yesterday the eye drop that is causing a problem was stopped and the new free sample is being administered three times a day and guess what NO elevated blood pressure issues. So if we were foolish enough to accept the recommendation that he take the increased 50mg which would be 100mg three times daily for a blood pressure reading of 160/82 his blood pressure would plummet leaving him in a dangerous situation. If you're reading this post please go to the physician appointments with your elderly parents and advocate because bedside manners and compassion have clearly diminished from some physicians staff and physicians. Listening to the patients is the first step in CARING!!! Certainly I called the office to express my concerns once I discussed the appointment and read the cardiologist superbill review of my Father's appointment. I left a message and April returned my call. I expressed my concerns regarding the increase dosage and what we felt was the root of the increased blood pressure and April stated that she would consult with Dr. AlDehneh. Today 06/22/23 she returned my laughing with someone else prior to beginning to tell me that she had spoken to the physician and he stated that 100 mg three times daily is what he recommended and wrote the prescription for... hmmm my, my shaking my head in disappointment! No sir, No ma'am!!! I'm thankful that I communicated and have placed measure in place that this will never happen and we will consult his primary physician prior to any recommendations from this office. Advocate for your parents because you only have them for a set time. Don't stop asking questions... demand answers and don't settle for an answer that may COST YOU YOUR LIFE!

Dr Al-Dehneh is a good Doctor and I appreciate his care. Unfortunately the Okaloosa Heart and Vascular Center is having problems. The waiting room is too small and this is the second time people have had to wait in the corridor and bench outside. This is also the second time I've had to wait over an hour past my appointment time to get my vitals taken and told to go back outside and wait again. The waiting room feels unsafe in today's environment with so many people crammed together inside. Today was my last day with Okaloosa Heart and Vascular Center and I hope Dr Al-Dehneh can move to another center of care.

The doctor is wonderful but the staff is lacking horribly. When something very important needs to be addressed, they put you on hold forever. I called before they closed and was put on hold and after 5pm the girl came back on and they are all gone and it was Friday. What kind of business is that? I really need an answer and can't get thru now.
