Dr. Tarec K. Elajami

I was very pleased with Dr. Elajami. He showed genuine concern for my specific health condition and made sure I fully understood what I might need to address. His personal commitment to outlining the necessary follow-up procedures, along with his compassion for my uncertainties, was exceptional. I would highly recommend his services as a cardiologist.

This is not about the doctor unfortunately I was unable to see him. This was my first visit and the lady at the front desk was not helpful at all. My appointment was at 11:30 I Had my referral, but was missing the authorization number. This lady was not concerned about my reason of visit. Come to find out my doctor's office said I could've called the insurance to get the authorization number which the lady at the front desk never told me. This lady was already trying to get me out the door reschedule my appointment mind you my appointment was at 11:30 by 11:50 She was already talking about "they are going to lunch" if my appointment was at 11:30 what time would I have with the doctor to express my concern, If you're already talking about lunch and it's not even 12 o'clock. She didn't give any time for them to send it just kept talking about stuffing her face. I've never in all my times of having doctors appointments. Have someone to rush me off for lunch even if I had to wait until the lunch was over. I was seen, especially with the condition I was in. I was having palpitations tightness in my chest. My heart was burning. I came from the emergency room just to be sent home. Never again will I visit any doctor with Mount Sinai within that department. Thanks for nothing. I also will be reporting this to the DOH

Dr Tarec Elajami has been my Cardiologist for over a year. Stellar Dr and fine man. He is my favorite physician that I have. Could not recommend him more. A+++

Caring, compassionate, concerned are words that clearly describe Dr. Elajami. To him patients are not just another 15 minute billing unit, but real humans seeking care and comfort with the knowledge he provides his patients. I came to Dr. Elajami because my previous cardiologist arrogantly refused to communicate with my primary provider, and simply looked me as a billing unit. To say I am please and satisfied with Dr.Elajami's care is an understatement; I'm more than happy!
