My cardiologist had been on me for over 15 years to see a cardiac surgeon... I did some homework and decided that Dr. Duarte was the professional I needed. On our first meeting, he put me at ease by explaining what needs to be done, and what it entailed. My aorta valve problem had gone from moderate to severe, and the valve needed to be replaced soonest! The entire process of getting registered with his office and Brandon Regional was near flawless! The surgery went smooth and I was up walking the same day. My stay was only 5 days at Brandon Regional... The entire nursing staff was amazing.. the food sucked, but everything else was great. My follow up appointments were spot on as was the visiting Healthcare Service Team. Thank you Dr Duarte! You are a compassionate and amazing person! Cheers from Apollo Beach Florida
We were alerted to attend a virtual court date on Zoom at the very moment Dr. Duarte entered the room. He showed real concern, allowed my husband to continue to make the connection, and was very patient and thorough, going to retrieve a previous CT from my cardiologist to be sure of the situation with my heart. His reassurance was appreciated, as he said, "I hope I have been able to help relieve some of your stress at least!" Yes, indeed he did!
I am so impressed with him and his dedication to work with other doctors to find the right solutions to a complex situation. His rapport is wonderful. Highly recommend him!!!!
