Yesterday at Manatee Memorial Hospital 12/9/25, I had a Watchman Implanted by Dr Daniel Friedman of Bradenton Cardiology, a brilliant Doctor and expert on Watchman Implants. From the moment I arrived I encountered a professional and caring staff, technicians and Nurses. The procedure was prompt, smooth and I was released to go home two hours after completion. In particular I want to commend my bedside Nurse Korrine Ferari. She was skillful, diligent, knowledgeable and a total professional in patient care. In addition she has a wonderful personality which puts patients totally at ease. She really cares about her patients. In summary, it was a great experience under the circumstances. Joe Keating

I went in for surgery for the first time ever, the staff was very professional, caring and supportive throughout the whole process. Nurses, Dr.Barrera, anesthesiologist pre and post opt nurses were so helpful and educating on my recovery. All the staff had great bedside manners. I was very nervous and scared going in and I can honestly say they made me feel at ease and took really good care of me. I spoke with a nurse who called me to check on my recovery and I expressed to her how grateful I am for their care. My pre opt Nurse Amy was so caring, knowledgeable and compassionate.

Manatee Memorial Hospital.... I visited your location on Tuesday, 12/02/25, and was placed in triage room 28 awaiting a transfusion. Upon returning on Sunday, 12/07/25, I was again placed in triage room 28 for another transfusion. Despite understanding staffing shortages, I am concerned that the same triage room had not received proper basic cleaning, including sweeping and mopping, within the five-day period. This lack of cleanliness in the ER environment is unacceptable. Notably, the same patch of hair from my wig, which was caught by the blood pressure cuff, remained. Furthermore, the condition of your bathrooms is also a concern, which is why I declined to provide urine samples. Manatee Memorial Hospital
Update: this employee name Nola P. was pushing her cart down the hall I ask if I could use her broom and her answer was " I will cleaned it up for you- you don't need to do nothing" thank you

Horrible experience! I got hit by a car while I was on a bicycle. My right wrist was badly swollen and I was in a lot of pain. The hospital staff did NOT give me anything for pain, not even Tylenol! I never saw a doctor! A Nurse Practitioner showed up and she NEVER even looked at my wrist wich was covered with an ice pack. They took X-rays and then I was being discharged, I asked if it was broken they said no, I then asked why my wrist is so badly swollen and its very difficult to move and is extremely painful. They said it was normal and then sent me out with a prescription for NSAID that I couldn't take because I have stomach issues which I told them when I got there. So I have had to deal with the pain with nothing! It's been 6 days as I'm writing this and my right wrist is still badly swollen and I can't really move it still. The only thing different now is part of my palm to half way up my forearm is all black & blue and now turning yellow! Yeah, something is wrong and they never bothered to look at me, treat me and find out what is wrong. Also, they never treated any of my road rash on both of my knees, elbows and forarms!

If you need to receive PT rehab let me highly recommend the Rehab and Sports Medicine Center on SR 70. I recently completed a 3 month session and have nothing but good things to say about all phases of my treatment. My therapist Ksenia is an ultimate professional-- very knowledgeable, welcoming, and caring. She quickly diagnosed my issues and developed a plan for me. She knew my limits but also pushed me to those limits. All the other therapists were also friendly and welcoming. This positive attitude starts from the moment you walk in the door and are greeted by the receptionist Elizabeth with her smiling face and good morning. I've never been exposed to any medical facility with such a friendly and positive attitude by all the staff. Job well done!! Almost makes me feel sorry my session is complete. Going to miss all of you!!
