HCA Florida Blake Hospital

My son was taking her after a trauma at work. He was injured very bad, and his family was very nervous and afraid of what he was going through. The staff were remarkable. I can't say enough about how great they were with communication, support, and just making sure that all of our needs were met. The nurses were fantastic. My son said that he couldn't have had a better medical team than what he had here. Big shout out to nurse Lilly in the trauma/ICU unit on the fifth floor as she was absolutely amazing! I had to be in there on my birthday and my son felt bad so she took the time to literally put up streamers and help him make a card for me, even though he was dealing with some extremely serious injuries. It made him feel better about being able to do something and it really was just above and beyond. Definitely recommend this hospital and it's staff!

I want to express my deepest gratitude to HCA Florida Largo Hospital for the exceptional care my husband received during his recent off-pump procedure with Dr. Christian Caldiera. From the moment we arrived starting with registration, through pre-op, and throughout the entire process every single staff member showed kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion. Dr. Christian Caldiera and his entire office staff were absolutely wonderful. Their patience, attentiveness, and dedication gave us so much confidence and peace of mind during a very stressful time. I am truly impressed and thankful for the outstanding service and care provided by everyone at HCA Florida Largo Hospital. Like any medical facility/hospital. Some nurses are caring and some nurses and doctors are just putting in.They're time to get a paycheck. My mother was the emergency room having trouble breathing and the c-pap mask was coming off her face and all of the alarms were going off on the machines. No one was coming in to check on her. So I went to the nurse station, and the girl said how can I help you. I said my mother is right here.Can you hear all of the alarms going off on the machine. She said I will get your nurse. I asked her if she could please get the nurse now. She called out for him and he came over and asked me.How can I help you. My mother is right behind me, with the mask over her eyes and down below her mouth. I recorded video for 2 minutes before anybody came to help her. I am very disappointed with the staff that was working that night.

I could not be happier at Blake hospital for my lower back surgery. The staff is top notch. Attentive is an understatement. Cleanliness was excellent. Nurses,everyone worked to the same goal. My care. 24 hrs a day for 4 days, they didn't miss a beat. Highly recommend. Food is good,with options.

Only good things to say. My husband had 2 surgeries at this Hospital (Bradenton location), we have used the ER a few times and have been here for a few other things. It is our preferred Hospital in this area. Wait time is always to be expected but for most of our appointments there was little wait time. Everyone we had to deal with was super nice, attentive, and friendly. This is true for the Doctors, nurses and ER staff (and other staff). For both surgeries, the staff was awesome. We always feel like everyone has our best interest in mind. The one thing I would like to fix are the meals (not so yummy) :-) Thank you
