NCH Medical Group - Bonita Beach

NCH Family Medicine Doctors are leaving regularly for concierge at this Bonita Beach location often and when a patient needs to see another Doctor at the same practice, the place is charging a new patient fee. This is outrageous, same facility, same records, same exam rooms, same nurses, then why again a new patient fee? Why is the patient penalized for no fault? Dr Guatoli is very good but is leaving in Oct and I was told that when I see another Doctor, there will be charge for new patient with another doctor at the same location. Extortion to the fullest it seems. Billing and Front office folks are crappy, dishonest, and tell complete lies every time you call and ask for an answer. Check your bill as you get them for errors. I would give them a negative rating if I had a way.

All of the staff here is absolutely amazing from the ladies at the front desk, the doctor's assistant, to my new doctor, Leydis Cantillo. Both my doctor and her assistant are so attentive, courteous, and helpful. I am SO GRATEFUL that my insurance selected them and feel like I hit the lotto in getting the best care. Having a doctor that genuinely cares about their patients and their health, addressing all of their concerns, and going out of their way in giving them the extra time and care instead (instead of just seeing them as another number) is so important and valuable to me. Despite being a new patient, I was able to get an appointment here right away. The facility is clean, as well. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Thank you so much to all of the wonderful staff here who I spoke with as every single one of them were super caring and helpful in assisting me. :)

NCH's Primary Care Physicians are leaving the practice and if we select another physician within the NCH practice at the same location at Bonita Springs, we are getting assessed a new patient evaluation fee of $133 with each involuntary change like that. It has already happened to me twice in the year 2024 and 2025. Billing is of no help and they are telling that this fee is valid. To me it is illegal and unethical to charge a fee to a patient due to departure of a NCH physician where the patient is not switching and not at fault. My compalaint to Florida Dept of Agriculture and Consumer Services was sent to them and they chose not to respond. My insurer told me that NCH has billed it as office visit although I went for annual physical fully covered by insurance. Ultimately, I ended up paying due to threat of collection and to protect my stellar credit history. This is worst customer service and money extraction. I am posting after more than a dozen interactions and emails which were futile. Not answering to a governmental body shows their true color as to helping patients. The billing dept personnel and the reception have no clue but to justify their action at any cost telling a bunch of lies that changes every time you call. Disgusting attitude and unethical billing practices to say the list. The PCPs are good, not an issue for me. It is the support and service personnel and the billing department in its entirety that sucks.

I didn't check out these reviews until after my visit and I have to think they switched up the office staff. The staff was very pleasant and check in was a breeze. I was called back with minutes of checking in and getting my vitals taken/speaking with the nurse 10 minutes prior to my appointment. The appointment was very thorough, a clear plan was communicated and labs were ordered. Bloodwork would have been drawn during the appointment if I hadn't scheduled an appointment for end of day (and had been fasting).

I came in for a check up on my high heart rate and my appointment went great! Laura at front desk was super kind and friendly and I really appreciated that as I can tell she had joy while doing her job! I also saw Dr.Brownstein who was great and made me feel comfortable, especially that I'm pregnant. I look forward to my next appointment!
