Tiffany and Geron in the MRI department were the greatest. I had an appointment the week prior at another facility and it was unsuccessful, but at Bartow Tiffany and Geron accommodated me and made me comfortable so I could complete the exam and within 15 minutes my doctor had the results and I was off to the Emergency Room to get admitted for Surgery. I went to this hospital to get surgery done. I was a tad bit nervous because I realized it was actually happening, but my techs and nurses were so amazing and so super sweet. Thank you to Kaylee, Yano, Mike, Lori, Jennifer, Althea, Patricia, and the other doctors and nurses on my team! They all gave me a good understanding of what to expect and in the order to expect then so I wasn't nervous anymore. I trusted God to lead and guid them through the surgery and I trusted them to do the surgery efficiently and that's exactly what they did. They joked and laughed with me which helped me also feel calm. I knew everything would be ok. They took me back and I don't even remember what happened after that. I woke up afterwards and they were all so patient and kind to me. I was extremely sleepy so it was hard to stay up but they patiently waited for me to get up and be more alert and checking in constantly! I highly recommend this hospital! The staff are just amazing and works so quickly and efficiently together and I had the best experience because of them. So thank you so very much for treating me like family today and caring for me.

My father recently had surgery there, and the entire staff was truly amazing. Althea, Jessy, Leslee, Jennifer, and Yani were incredibly welcoming and cared for my father as if he were their own. Dr. Matallana did an outstanding job with the surgery. Everyone involved in the procedure took the time to introduce themselves, explain each step, and walk us through what to expect. Their compassion and professionalism made us feel completely at ease, and I had full confidence that my father was in excellent hands.

I had an outpatient procedure done today and I just have to say this was by far the best experience I've ever had at any facility. The staff listened and accommodated my needs. They were compassionate and kind and had great personalities. All of the staff's bedside manners far exceeded my expectations. I cannot recommend Bartow Regional Medical Center enough! Top Notch Care! My team members Kristin, Maritza, Evelyn and Yani were amazing! Dr. "X" was also great! Dr. Fenning was my anesthesiologist and he did a great job, as well as his assistant. I did not catch her name, but she was super sweet.! Thanks again, Bartow Regional Medical Center!

I remain in awe of the team at Bartow Regional Medical Center. Though my story is not one that will be featured in the annals of medical history, my experience with the medical team and support staff should be - it was above and beyond all expectations. My visit began in the Emergency Room on a Sunday morning. Though it seemed busy as, I was ushered through the registration process with hardly a wait. What struck me immediately was how unhurried, organized, and compassionate the emergency room team was. To a person, they didn't "process" me, they engaged with and embraced me. Quite surprisingly, they were authentically interested in who I was in addition to what was wrong with me. Certainly, they were kind, considerate, and patient; however; there was much more to it than that. I felt warmth and a genuine desire to provide care and comfort that I've never experienced in a healthcare environment. And . . . it was with everybody I encountered, not just a select few. I wish I could remember everyone's name, the nurse who did my intake especially, as she put us at ease immediately with her humor and set the tone for the remainder of our visit. De De, the triage practitioner, was equally amazing and reassuring - explaining everything precisely and making certain all of our questions and concerns were addressed. Mags, our care nurse, was beyond amazing. Though she was probably bouncing from patient to patient, she made us feel like we were the only patient there and all that mattered. My heart, even now, is filled with gratitude for these heroes of the ER. Perhaps it's all in a day's work for them - for us, it was miraculous. How can so many kind and generous souls be assembled in one facility? As we were soon to find out, it is the living, breathing, culture of the hospital. It is who they are, not just what they do. I was admitted and moved to room 221-1. There to greet us was our amazing nurse-tech (name!) who literally made us feel right at home and comfortable. Warm and engaging, she settled us in with ease and a smile. Over the course of two nights and three days, we were cared for by a team of medical professionals who felt like family. Nurses Stephanie, Kimmy, Marie, Yuri, Erica, Maria Cardiac Nurse Amanda, Dr. Kanumuri, Tech Miranda, Housekeeper Amanda, the entire dietary team - all, to a person, incredibly kind, friendly, comforting, and genuine. They put the "home" in hometown hospital. What should have been a dreadful event has left me feeling optimistic, upbeat, and restored. This single stay at Bartow Regional Medical Center has restored and even heighted my faith in humanity. There are, indeed, angels among us.
