Showed up for an appointment with my autistic sister and was told her appointment had been canceled 3 weeks earlier and there were no doctors there to see her. She said they had "left a message" and that they "have a system that calls after that if you don't answer." Awful "system" aside, the woman didn't even bother to get up from her desk across the room or turn to us to say all this. She did have the sense of humor to ask if we'd like to schedule another appointment, though. That won't be necessary.
