I live in Lakeland but scheduled for my first appointment with the Auburndale office due to availability. I've already been so impressed and happy with them. They quickly followed up with all of my referrals and contacted me as soon as they were approved. They contacted me the same day after receiving my results from a test. Very professional and efficient! I'm so thankful that I found Advanced Internal. One of the best experiences with a practice! I highly recommend them!

I cannot express enough how amazing Dr. Bernardo Trujillo is! After struggling with my health for over two years in England, where doctors failed to give me any diagnosis or even an idea of what was wrong, I decided to fly to the U.S. specifically to see him--and it was the best decision I ever made. For the past two months, I had been feeling extremely unwell, rapidly losing weight, and no one in England could figure out why. However, the moment I met Dr. Trujillo, everything changed. He took the time to listen, thoroughly examined my case, and immediately sent me for a CT scan and other necessary tests to ensure we got to the root of the problem. Within just one week, he had a clear diagnosis--something that doctors in England couldn't provide in over two years! Thanks to him, I finally have answers and the right medication to treat my condition. I feel so relieved and beyond grateful for his professionalism, dedication, and kindness. I have truly never met a better doctor, and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a compassionate and highly skilled medical professional. Dr. Trujillo is the absolute best!

Yesterday I called to ask for a slightly higher dosage of my anxiety medication (which also works as a pain med for my fibro) and i think there was some kind of miscommunication between the receptionist who took my call and i, because later on i was told by another receptionist that I had to seek outside counsel and that my Dr. could not do the increase for me and i was very confused and stressed out as i don't have insurance or disposable income and my meds really help me I just needed the dosage upped as im on the lowest and was feeling my symptoms a little still, ANYWAYS today I checked my pharmacy app and he did increase to the dosage I requested! Either the woman I spoke to 2nd informed him that maybe the 1st woman misheard what dosage I was requesting, or my Dr. suspected I was misheard, either way I really love this office for fixing the situation so quickly!! Thank you Dr. Gonzalez and staff!! You are appreciated :)) I wish you had a patient portal tho!!

My experience with Dr. Trujillo has been wonderful. He's very professional and kind.

Recently I had the blessing to be treated by Bernardo Trujillo APRN. He listened and treated me like a person not a symptom. I was in great need of medical help. Bernardo did not leave any stone unturned and help me get back to healthy again.
