John Bibawy

Dr. Bibawy is an expert in his field. After 1 failed conversion for AF by another electrophysiologist he performed an ablation on my husband that was an instant success. He is a highly skilled professional and he is a great human being with a lovely bedside manner to boot. We would highly recommend him to anyone with AF.

If you have a significant amount of time to waste, Dr. Bibawy is perfect for you. I should have known even before I went to my first appointment with him how this was going to turn out given that I had to call them back three times in order to set the appointment. Once at the office, I still had to wait in his lobby. After meeting with him, which was my second opinion, the surgery was scheduled. I specifically picked a date more in the future to be the first patient of the day, because knowing doctors have a tendency to run behind a bit, I did not want to get bumped. I showed up to the hospital at 9:30 for my 10:30 surgery, only to find out I was now second in line. This is where the train goes off the tracks. I went into the pre-op room at about 10. About every hour until 2:30, the nurses came in to inform me that his first surgery was running behind because the current case kept getting bigger and bigger. At 2:30 they got me out of pre-op to strap me down to the surgery bed, where I couldn't even scratch my own nose. I was there until 3:30, when the nurses in the room mention that Dr. Bibawy just went into the patients' left chamber, which was most likely going be another 1 to 2 hours. That is when I had to argue to get off the table I was strapped to. They pulled the doctor out of the surgery, who informed me it shouldn't be too much longer. I asked him why we didn't reschedule this as I would prefer to not have a doctor who has 7 hours of fatigue at this point and hasn't eaten operate on my heart. They finally unvelcroed me from the table, and I checked myself out of the hospital. I said to myself, if the doctor calls me tonight or over the weekend to apologize, I would possibly reconsider the surgery with him and not having to find a new doctor and go through this whole process again. It has now been 5 days and ZERO COMMUICATION FROM THE DOCTOR OR HIS STAFF. The only thing they did in a timely manner was charge my card for all the appointments and copays. So again, if you have a lot of time to waste and you are bored, this is the doctor for you.

Great doctor! I felt he really cared for my well l-being and spent a lot of time to make sure all my questions were answered. He was able to diagnose and treat me very quickly.

Such a great experience with this Doctor! He is friendly and he clearly cares for his patients. Definitely recommend. Oliver

Fabulous bedside manner in the hospital and then follow ups in office. Staff is courteous and efficient.
