I arrived at the Apopka location and was called at my appointed time. The visit with the nurse was quick and easy. Once the Doctor came in he was very thorough and explained everything. My experience was awesome!
About Dr. Linus Wodi, MD, FACC, RPVI, SCH
Linus Wodi, MD, is board certified in cardiovascular medicine, nuclear cardiology and internal medicine. He specializes in treating patients with heart failure and cardiovascular disease at AdventHealth Medical Group's cardiology offices in Apopka and Winter Garden. His expertise in nuclear cardiology, echocardiography and invasive, non-interventional cardiology is why physicians from across the region refer their patients to his care. Dr Wodi graduated from the University of Lagos College of Medicine in Nigeria before moving to the United States for his residency and advanced fellowship training in cardiovascular medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.

My experience with Dr Wodi has been superb. I don't understand people giving this Dr or his staff less than a 4. From day one(1) he has been professional and staff member. We as patient must be accountable also. We need to do our part as well. I'm 74 and saw a many of doctors including cardiologist he is the best so far.

No bedside minors. Mind you the first visit is to establish a patient relationship with the doctor. My visit with dr Linus was nowhere near that. He came to the room in a rush, asked questions but didn't give me time to think of the answers. His tone and body language make him sound arrogant. Using medical terminology with patient to display his brilliance. He then uses my parent health condition to diagnose me, even though I told him that I'm not sure if the information is accurate, because I was given the info from family not a medical professional. I was very excited after waiting months for my visit. The hospital referred to him, stated that he's the best in town. How can someone be the best in town, give the best care to the patients if they not willing to listen and connect? He's quick to write a script instead educate.

Dr Wodi saw a pattern and ran tests that found my widow maker 80% blocked. I immediately received a heart cath which prevented a major heart attack from happening. I highly recommended Dr Wodi.

Dr Wodi was upset because I was taking extra bp meds to try to get my bp down. He ordered stat labs and told me he would call me with a plan. My appt was on Tuesday, and it is now Friday and he hasn't bothered to call me back. So, at this point I do not know what to do. So I am very disappointed.
