Onboarding
Before my mother's first appointment, I received a call from Patient Service Advisor Josefina Sanchez--more than a week in advance--to ensure they had all of my mom's medical information on file. She carefully went over her list of specialists (she has many!), phone numbers, fax numbers, and medication lists. She even provided my mom with a thoughtful welcome bag, including hand sanitizer, a notepad, pens, a calendar, and more.
Josefina also took the time to explain the facility's services in detail. One of the standout features? An activity center right next to the lobby, where patients can participate in everything from bingo games to social events--no appointment needed!
Medical Staff
So far, my mom has been seen by Dr. Bayona, Nurse Practitioner Patricia Bernard, and the nursing staff. I can't express enough how much I appreciate their level of care, attention, and listening--yes, actual listening! They took the time to ask thoughtful questions and never rushed us. Our appointment lasted close to 30 minutes, and throughout, they were personable, patient, and genuinely invested in my mom's well-being. Outstanding patient care!
Administrative Staff
Every medical facility in Orlando could take a lesson from this team! They are knowledgeable, efficient, and--most importantly--they follow up. They call to confirm that tasks have been completed, and they go above and beyond to get things done.
One of the main reasons I moved my mom from her previous PCP was due to administrative inefficiencies, but the staff at CenterWell has truly mastered the process. From handling referrals and insurance to scheduling appointments, they even read notes before calling, so they are fully prepared--hallelujah! I would give less stars if it was a option I went to the cardiologist there he sent me to get a test done at there facility he said everything is fine can control with medication said no way I would have a heart attack or any problems and again medication will fix i went to get a second opinion doctor did test said I had over a 90% blockage a few days later I'm in the hospital having surgery to unblock it and put a stent i asked doctor here why such totally different diagnosis got told doctors go to different schools so will have different options WOW I'm sorry but that is one messed up thing to say
