AdventHealth Medical Group Cardiology at Altamonte Springs

Doctor is very dismissive with any concerns and questions you have. He will ask you a question then will completely talk over you during your answer. You will leave more annoyed and left without answers to questions you had upon arrival.

The nurse was unprofessional, I left without seeing the doctor. This is a shame since Dr Seifein is a very good doctor, I went today to see Amanda Vivo and her nurse (the one that called me from the waiting room) was very unprofessional, condescending and rude to the point that at one point I said that I will leave, and her answer was "you can do that". So, I left without seeing the doctor. I then called the let the administration know and someone with the name Lashanda answered when I went to the notes noticed that she entered a number that is not mine. I am beyond frustrated.

Disappointed with the staff and processes here. I called to speak with the clinical team and then I was told (via recording) that someone would call me back. I got a call back maybe about 30 mins later. The girl who answered did not sound like she wanted to "serve" me like she stated. Before I could finish telling her the issues I was having with the medication she transferred me to the doctors message line. I didn't even get a call back the same day even though I said I was having a bad reaction to the medication change. I'm leaving this group just off that. Dr is great, staff and process is terrible to reach someone for urgent issues. It shows no care or sincerity at all. Update: It been 3 days since I called saying I had a reaction to the medication change. No one has called. I do not recommend this place.

This branch of Adventhealth has canceled two separate first-time cardiology appointments for me, within less than sixty days. Extremely frustrated. Clearly, no one makes an appointment with a cardiologist without a resaon. First, to even schedule with this office it was a wait for 2-3 months to book. Then that timeline came and went - TWICE - and the office canceled my appointment. Would not recommend, at all.

OK I was admitted to Advent Health Altamonte do to a low Blood Pressure four weeks ago. While in the hospital I was referred to Advent Health Cardiology. They changed my medications while in the hospital I was doing ok till this past week week. My Blood Pressure shot up to the highest to 210/110. I called and left message on Monday, during the recording I was told to leave a message and it would be handed based on severity. So I felt I would be called back that day. I finally got a return on Friday. I did get a hold of a person on Tuesday, and at first I was told to need to call my primary MD. I told the her that I am a retired nurse and that is not how it works due the medication was give to me by them. I was told to call my primary anyway, if cant get help from my primary I was to call back. I had to call back three time to get a person again, because my primary office agreed with me. I finally got and additional medication which I was on before but it is a lower dose, which is not working. I have been dealing with super high Blood Pressure for over a week. I told my family if something happens to me to pursue legal action. I will being looking for a new cardiologist next week. I am over this. You see advertisements on how great they are I am beginning to think no so. And by the way I once work on the floors at Advent health in Altamonte (AKA Florida Hospital back then)
