HCA Florida Palms West Hospital Emergency Room

Big shoutout to Abigail from the Patient Care Team! Thank you for your compassion and for taking such attentive care of me during my recovery. You have a golden heart and an incredible passion for supporting patients. You went above and beyond in every way, doing things you didn't have to do, and then some. Palm West Hospital needs you training their entire staff on customer service. The level of care you provided is what people feel when they walk into the Ritz-Carlton, and that says everything. Continue your path in healthcare, the world is truly in desperate need of people like you. Your gift for caring is rare, and it makes a difference far greater than you may realize.

I just want to say that all the staff members. All the nurses and caretakers at this hospital are amazing. I thank God for them. My sister has been very sick. She has fibrosis of the lungs, and she unfortunately ended up getting pneumonia. And some other illnesses, but the staff has been so wonderful. I couldn't have asked for a better crew. I also want to thank Sarah. SIEBERT, she is the director for critical care services. She is just one amazing lady. I couldn't thank her enough. I hope everyone realizes how great this hospital is because, on a scale of 1 to ten, they are definitely a twenty. May god bless all those that are working there.Thank you so much for caring for my sister and showing true love.

From the moment that I was brought in by ambulance which I have to say they were absolutely amazing so caring and kind and helpful. They brought me into the hospital made sure everything was fine with me there and then they left the care that I got in the ER was phenomenal. I met the most wonderful doctors and nurses so caring and they helped me to feel better and calm down after my fall. They each and every one of them were great. The doctors that came in for the orthopedic surgeons were so kind and caring and helpful. They set my arm and made me feel better. I just have to rave about this emergency care room. It was wonderful then I was put into a room up on the second floor, I believe and every single person up there every nurse every doctor they were just kind and caring and helpful, and just did everything that I needed took care of me And I have to say the nurses Gianna , Tracy, I can't even remember all the names but every single one of them were awesome. I highly highly recommend this hospital. It was a wonderful experience

My husband cut his finger and bleeding would not stop. He cut nail and into tissue of finger. X-rays were taken to be sure there was no bone involvement. The staff was very helpful, explained all that was being done and we were taken care of in a timely fashion. All went well until the nurse had to put a dressing and bandage his finger. She did such a terrible job that but the time we got to the car the entire dressing fell off. I went home and we put a new dressing on. She really should just work at a desk not with patient care. She was very helpful with everything else. We have been to Palm West several times and will continue to use it when necessary. She was a good nurse except for the dressing.

Nurses are very nice and professional. They are courteous, and follow instructions. They get concerned about your own health and recovery. They procure to pay all necessary attention you need, and take care of you as their own. I have no complaints at all about them. I recommend all nurses at the hospital. Food is very good, but you need to be very specific regarding letting them know if you are diabetic. Procedure regarding insulin is not adequate, not personalized, as it should be. My sugar level went higher because of their not personalized protocol. Personnel at ER Emergency desk are not very friendly, but skeptical when you approach the desk. Nurses inside the ER do the right thing as instructed by doctors.
