Dr. Medley is great. She creates a comfortable atmosphere, asks lots of questions, and pays attention to the answers. Moreover, she does a nice job of explaining any issues that happen to come up and is quite responsive if you happen to have follow-up questions to ask via the portal. I couldn't ask for anything more in a primary care physician.
Dr. Medley and the whole front desk staff at Medstar Navy Yard are terrific. They are friendly and professional and helpful. Dr. Medley is so smart and experienced. I am very grateful for their expert care.
I read the negative review and felt compelled to respond. Dr. Medley has been my primary care doctor for over 20 years. She has been nothing short of spectacular. When I had a concern about a medication I was taking she asked me to come in and we discuss my concerns. She didn't dismiss me, she listened and was very concerned as to my thoughts about why I felt it wasn't "working". I told her I wanted a particular test done because I hadn't had it one in almost 10 years. She referred me to a great Endocrinologist who was just as equally caring and concerned. A biopsy was performed and it turned out I had thyroid cancer. The care I received from both Dr. Medley and my Endocrinologist were in sync because of the MedStar network. I can honestly say I've never had a bad experience with Dr. Medley's care.
Dr. Medley is outstanding. Today was my initial visit with her and I was beyond impressed with her.
