Given concerning results from a CT cardiac calcium scoring my internist had ordered, I now look back over the past weeks and reflect how fortunate and grateful to have been recommended to Dr. Shawn Howell. From my first consultation with her, I came away knowing I had a top-notch cardiac doc. That has been even more clear after yesterday's cardiac catheterization procedure which definitively confirmed a need to embed several stents while she did the procedure... amazingly all via my wrist! Dr. Howell not only did a thorough work-up (over several weeks) to diagnose and attempt to treat my symptoms, but at all stages did an outstanding job of communicating to both my wife and self about the essences in terms that made us both comfortable and AGREE that we were in the "good hands" of a true professional. Dr. Howell has been my doctor for almost 5 years. I am very blessed to have her has my doctor. 5 years ago I experienced so medical conditions and the doctors at the hospital couldn't figure out why.
