Dr. Anthony Alfieri is an excellent doctor. He will spend time with you explaining your situation and the proper treatment best for you. In my case, initially, I did not follow Dr. Alfieri's advice concerning my personal life changes necessary. At my next office visit with Dr. Alfieri, he appeared disappointed that I had not followed his advice. He was kind to again, take the time to review the importance of why I should follow his advice and how to achieve positive results. He showed me that he really cares about the well-being of his patients. Today, I am happy to report that I have achieved many healthy goals because I did follow Dr. Anthony Alfieri's advice. Our interactions with the staff at Alferi Cardiology are always pleasant. The front desk staff is always welcoming. Both times we visited, my mother was brought back by Quetzy, who has a wonderful way of putting her at ease. Catherine has also been exceptional. I've been impressed by her medical knowledge and her ability to explain complex concepts in a clear way. I also must recognize Virginia, who was incredibly kind. Dr. Alfieri is one of the most favorable doctors I've had in my 64 years. And his results are extremely favorable . Ms. LISA , his office assistant will go ABOVE AND BEYOND to put YOUR HEALTH & NEEDS FIRST . She works tirelessly on your behalf especially with insurance coverage issues . SHES BEEN A LIFELINE FOR ME !

I had a wonderful experience and a great outcome thanks to this office. I initially wanted to address what I thought was a cosmetic vein issue. Dr. Alfieri was very efficient and direct in addressing the underlying cause (a chronic vein condition) and initiated a thorough treatment plan. His office even worked with my insurance to ensure the procedures and processes they used would be covered. While I was surprised with my diagnosis, I was very pleased with the care, immediate treatment and long term plan to monitor the condition. I'm very thankful for Dr. Alfieri and his wonderful medical and office staff!

What an experience? At first it started off well as I was examined for my legs to see if I had an issue with circulation. Thankfully I did not. But after that my experience with the admins at the front desk was not so great. There's a few that are clueless. I had to always go back and forth with them and my insurance about my prescriptions. From try to explain what didn't happen, to what needed to happen. I was so frustrated with them. But let me just say this my last conversation with the front desk was with Taj telling her I only wanted to speak to Lisa the lady who does the authorizations for the scripts. When she asked me what was it in reference to I said I wanted to know if my prior authorization was done and someone else in the office said no and laughed. Then the next day Lisa did call and said the insurance will only accept if I had type 2 diabetes. Mined you this was after 2 plus weeks of waiting for the answer. No one from the office ever called and said nothing. So after a brief conversation I just told her never mind I will find something on my own. To cancel my next appointment as I will not be coming back to this office. It was very frustrating and took me out of character too many times. Enough was enough and it's not worth my time and energy. There are so many other doctors that have better administrative staff. In addition my coworker doesn't have type 2 diabetes and the insurance approved her. So if the prior authorization is not filled out correctly then yes the insurance will deny it. Lastly the wait time between when you sign in to when you get called back is usually 30-45 minutes. The MA sees you then you have to wait another 5-15 minutes before the doctor comes in. The doctor needs to lesson personal conversations with his patients so they don't have to be there so long.
