A saw negative reviews of Windham Cardiology and wanted to share my experience. My husband is a patient and everyone from the front desk person, to the nurse, to the PA to the Doc himself have been incredibly nice to us. I know it's a busy office, but they always make time for our questions and show kindness and concern.I'm very grateful to have them.
They are extremely slow here and disorganized 8/10 times. Easily wisting 30-60+ minutes for your appointment. Unsure how this is Hartford healthcare but they don't seem to have notes from other hhc providers. If you are lucky you will get friendly workers if not you will get rude dismissive ones. It's really unfortunate.
Hartford Healthcare is horrible. Windham cardiology is horrible. I was having chest pains, still do, and from having covid and hospitalized I was told I had an enlarged heart, was why I went here. I went through tests last Summer and never heard a word and was told the doctor I saw went away for a few months!! Then last month they called me and said Dr. Jacobsen (sp?)wanted to see me. Really? 9 month later! Probably because they don't have enough patients to fill their pockets. He was so rude to begin with and uncaring and now he wants to see me? Obviously there was nothing wrong. Don't go here!
Everyone has been especially helpful and considerate. I'm a 77-year-old overweight man. Dr. Jacobs has been doing whatever can be done to monitor blood pressure and cardiac function. So far, so good.United Health Care has covered everything and Quest and Mychartplus provide results quickly. It is up to me to keep taking the meds and keep trying to lose weight.
The MA was nice but the doctor had horrible bed side manner. I had several tests done prior to coming in and they had none and it was made to seem like it was my fault they didn't have them. I was then told by the doctor that "I'm going to ask yes or no questions, if I don't need to hear more, I'm just going to cut you off." I also had a heart monitor test and when I didn't hear back after a while about the results, I called and was told the doctor I saw was going to be out for a month for vacation. I do not recommend this place if you can avoid it.
