My husband had two heart attacks at once in July of this year. He was rushed to the ER at St. Mary's Hospital. Dr. Thorpe was on duty that night and performed surgery to insert three stents in his heart and unblock three arteries. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr. Thorpe. He took the time to come out before and after the procedure to let me know what was happening and what to expect. I never felt like he was rushed in speaking and explaining things to me during this stressful time. In the days that followed while my husband was in the ICU, we experienced the same thing. He was always very attentive, explained the situation well to us and was never rushed. The same could be said at our first appointment with him in his office after leaving the hospital. We feel very fortunate to have Dr. Thorpe as our cardiologist. He is a skilled and knowledgeable physician who cares about his patients.

Well, it all starts from the entrance of the property. The sign is perfect with the Dr. Name and building number, parking is perfect. The entrance to the office easy to locate. The office it self is beautiful, right away the professional secretaries welcomed me then checked me in and was asked to be seated. Right away I was called in to be checked into my room and treated very nicely with care and respect by the nurse. When the Dr. Knocked on the door Wow. So professional very polite, kind, caring, warming voice just lovely appearance, well spoken. Listen to me very concerned. He answered all my questions. Wow. Never had a Dr. That I can say I feel safe with his examples and what to do and what to expect. I came out of hus office confident and sure that I will get better. He took the time so that I can understand everything he advised to do. I feel safe and confident with Dr. Andrew Thorp, MD. Thank You. Before leaving the office the other secretary at the window before you leave very kindly asked me for my name and schedule me for the next visit. I will definitely will come back and recommend this practice to the whole Connecticut. Very Happy. I rate it a .

Great Doctor. He takes the time to both listen and explain diagnosis. Each time I have met with him it didn't feel as if he was rushed with one foot out the door. Office staff is both friendly and efficient.

Dr. Thorp was very nice he spent a lot of time explaining different things and the reasons why certain things happen. All the assistants were very nice as well as office staff. Very pleased with this visit.

My husband was brought in for emergency stent placement due to a massive heart attack. We were lucky enough that Dr. Thorp was on duty and performed the surgery. After the surgery, Dr. Thorp came out to speak with me and was very thorough, patient, and caring. He also came to my husband's room later that evening to check on him. He is terrific.
