Dr. Shah walked in the room, shook my hand, and asked me if I understood what his role in my surgery was. When I told him that his job was to keep all my organs and blood vessels away and safe from my orthopedic surgeon's sharp tools, he laughed and said his job today was done! LOL. We continued to talk more, where he explained in detail exactly what he was going to do, took a look at my abdomen and showed me where the incision would go, and gave me a very good idea of what to expect on the morning of the surgery and what my recovery would look like after. He allayed the little bit of anxiety I had about what to expect for immediate recovery. He was very friendly and congenial. He spoke at the right level of understanding and made sure I had a good grasp of everything. I was very happy with my consultation with Dr. Shah. Excellent human being to interact with.
