I want to thank Dr.assi and his entire team at Yale for a great job. Almost 4 years ago Dr.Assi gave me a new Aorta and since then I have gone to the biggest cave in the world in Vietnam and this year alone I went up Mt. Kilimanjaro twice. I recently was seen by Dr Assi in a follow up context to an Acute Ascending Aortic rupture 16 years ago I've been followed up- monitored and cared for but large team of cardio thoracic, cardiovascular, interventional cardiologists. And more among others. I rated my encounter a 4 only because we consulted on my current situation but we've not shared a surgical experience. I can attest to his knowledge with my history records, his "office manner" very personable... Often folks get a little anxiety with seeing "New" Doctors my experiences At Yale with changes has always been positive...
Dr. Assi performed my husband 's double coronary artery bypass. He is a highly skilled surgeon and his dedication to his patients amazed me. Not only did he explain everything to my husband and I at his pre-op visit he was also very personable and was always available for concerns or questions throughout the entire pre/post op journey.
I have been a patient of Dr Assi's for several years and I have the utmost confidence and respect in his surgical skills and credit him with saving and extending my life. Always professional, but personable answering all my questions fully, never rushing me. A medical professional with great compassion and a human touch that is a rare gift, but greatly appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone in need of heart surgery.
Dr. Assi what can I say, Dr Assi was is the best Dr. I ever met he was is the best Heart Surgeon i ever met i truly love that guy. I had to have open heart surgery CABG and he was the Surgeon that did it. He was very respectful to me to all the members of my family very knowledgable caring ansering all questions i or we had before and after concerns. He did the best Job on me he kept me alive and in the end feeling better than ever with a brand new heart he fixed all my problems. I trust him with my life and i truly recomend the same to others.
