Patient
Tried to convince my doctor that I was having serious heart problems. Being a decently healthy young female I was genuinely made to feel like I was overreacting so much and like I had no idea what was actually wrong with me. Three appointments where each he said nothing was wrong with me. A year later I had heart failure at 25 years old and each EKG taken once I came to, for hours and hours following showed serious abnormalities found such has extensive precordial repolarization disturbance, ischemia, LV overload. Sitting in the emergency room thinking about this doctor is the most angry I may have ever felt. Please take some advice- actually listen to your patients and don't put your perceived expert medical education above what your patients are begging you to listen to.
