The absolute worst experience trying to get an appointment here. As of today I have had 3 appointments scheduled and they have all had to be cancelled the day before. The evening before the first appt. I was left a VM saying I would have to arrive 30 minutes earlier than planned because of paperwork. I had made the appt. based upon getting out of work and heading straight there. The voicemail was left after your office closed so I could not reach anyone until the next morning. I explained that to the office on the phone the next morning. I was rescheduled for a new appointment with a time of 4:30. Again, the day before the appt. I got a phonecall saying that the Dr. normally does not see new patients that late in the day. I also found out that the appt. was scheduled for Meriden, not Cheshire as I had requested. So, yet again it was rescheduled. I was set to go in tomorrow (Friday) with Selena in Cheshire, or so I thought. I get the voicemail today and sure enough the person I talk to can't find me, at first. Then she says I am in the system under 2 different last names. And the dealbreaker is that once again the appointment is in Meriden. I really don't know why this office cannot get things right. I am a diabetic and really need a new primary care doctor. This will not be the place I guess. So Done.

The rescheduled my appointment without asking to an earlier time at another date that didn't work - but I fought to make it work anyway. I knew I was going to be 5-10 mins late and called ahead and they said that's fine. When I rushed there, followed signs for "internal medicine of Greater New Haven", it led me to an office to the right of the hallway - not the left office I was supposed to go to. When I was told the correct office, I was told she would see me but not for a physical because I late. ...what's the point? I'm there for a physical. The staff at all of these internal medicine places have been short, rude, and unprofessional on the phone and in person. I keep trying different doctors with similar results. Other reviews seem to share the same sentiment.

★★★★★

Internal Medicine of Greater New Haven--Hamden office is a *GREAT* healthcare provider! Generally, the office staff is on top of everything & work miracles when it comes to appointments, scheduling, referrals, call backs, etc. Specifically, Ashley Shaver is a Gawdess among APRNs... she's intelligent, empathetic, engaging & professional. I've NEVER come away from an appointment with Ashley where I didn't feel heard; my issues are addressed in-depth, and appropriate management tactics are explained thoroughly.

I was seen by Celina Pizarro and before I could even sit down I was informed that she may not have time to complete the physical exam portion of the visit. Was rushed through my history for her to take 45 seconds to "complete" the physical exam portion. Was rushed through registration, intake and the provider left to head home before I was even able to check out. Horrible service and will be returning to ProHealth Physicians for all future visits.

Patient

Dr Gustavo was very unprofessional. I came for my yearly health check. He started off the conversation about my blood pressure assuming that people as myself have high blood pressure. Non sense then telling me I have low vitamin c. Etc then he charged me for second visit by phone. I told him that he tell my results over the phone. He said that I need Telecom this call. Later on I'm being billed for this office visit. They will never get my business again. Now I just a payed a bill for 2023 in 2025. They forgot to bill me for teleconference visit.
