Dr. Jeffrey P. Thompsen, MD

What a horrible experience with Doctor Thompsen staff. They were rude and incompetent. I made two appointments in January mind you I need to be seen sooner than the phone got disconnected and I called back and the nurse had no idea what I was talking about and became quite rude. I will never ever use this Doctor if he was the last doctor in town and I will be reporting him to Johnson Memorial Hospital

This is the least engaged Dr. I've ever come across. 7 months after having a "mild heart attack" we've not seen the actual Dr. due to cancelled appointments by the Dr and consistent rescheduling that would again be cancelled. The office staff is inept, the wrong test was performed, had to go back for the right test, then they charged the insurance company for both tests. The PA is good but not a doctor. The office manager is rude an offered no resolution or understanding of why we were upset when we showed up to the third rescheduled appointment (6months after the event) and we hadn't been called or informed. Just no. Do not become a patient of this person - you won't see him, only the PA, who again, is decent but still not a doctor. Terrible experience with subpar treatment by everyone on staff.

Dr. Jeffrey P. Thomsen is part of Trinity Health Care, and they do their billing from India. They do not send the bill to insurance, but say they do and tell you that insurance did not pay, and you have to pay by credit care. They have become a scam. Anyone that uses a Trinity hospital or doctor or facility will be scammed and have to deal with a different country to resolve any bill disputes and have your credit rating ruined. Dr. Thompsen's Office does not answer their phone, and it goes to voicemail.

I came to Dr. Thompsen four years ago, after becoming discontented with my previous cardiologist. I had just undergone a heart bypass and felt I needed a cardiologist who was more proactive in helping me manage my cardiac care. Yes, he contracts with an outside service provider for stress tests and echocardiograms. However, in my experience, the techs have been awesome: friendly bedside manner, reassuring, and always willing to take the time to fully explain the process. Thanks to the diagnostic tests I've had through Dr. Thompsen and his PA-C S Shawn Brady, my cholesterol is down, my blood pressure is the best it's been since I was in high school, and I have fewer concerns about my cardiac health.

Saw Dr Thompsen on my first appointment only Then ALWAYS scheduled with his PA even though I requested numerous times when I was having heart issues to see Dr Thompsen Had MAJOR issues with the care so switched Dr's over a year ago Last night his office called me to say Dr Thompsen wanted me to go back on my BP meds I'm NOT even his patient anymore
