Cottage Grove Cardiology

The staff at cottage grove cardiology are amazing. My elderly mother had a three hour stress test and they were so kind, caring, and made the experience stress free. Special thanks to Jessica, Donna, JJ, and Julie.

My mom goes to Dr. Reza and I've met him myself. He seems like a good Dr. However I have a concern. My mom's prescription was sent to the pharmacy with half the dosage she was supposed to be taking. When she contacted the cardiologist office they told my Mom it was supposed to be 40mg when it was supposed to be 80. The office worker then talked to the Dr. Who then informed the worker it's supposed to be 80mg. The office worker then sent the correct dosage prescription to the pharmacy(80mg). My mom now only wants to take the lower dosage until her next visit because of the confusion. This is too much for my elderly mom.

I can't say enough about Dr. Santos, she is so kind and goes above and beyond to ensure her patients have a full understanding of their treatment plan. She doesn't rush you out the door, she listen and makes you feel like your health and well being matters to her. I just can't say anything negative about Dr. Santos. She's the BESTEST!!

I started at Cottage Grove with Dr. Haider being my provider. I only saw him once for my initial appointment and was then passed off to Erin Vincent for further appointments. If you want to see a "MD" I do not recommend seeing Dr. Haider as he has almost no availability in office, and is only in office on Fridays. Although, Erin Vincent (PA) was always kind and listened to my concerns. I do not recommend this office for various reasons but the main concern being communication. I had multiple incidents where they said my message/concern would be relayed to a doctor after I had called the front office, and was told someone would call me back, but multiple times my messages never left the front office. My other concern is the billing/insurance department. I was double billed for a procedure I had done MONTHS prior on a date that I was not even in the office. This took 3 months to sort out, constantly going in circles with the office staff, and the HH insurance line. All of the people I spoke to agreed that there was no reason for this extra bill yet nothing was done for months. That is until I told them that what they did was insurance fraud. Quickly after (within days) I got a call from the office that the double bill would be taken off my account and I would be reimbursed. It it interesting/comical to me that once the words "insurance fraud" are brought up it was quickly dealt with (go figure). I do have to say that Karen who works in the front office was helpful and kind and directed me to someone who could help sort out the mess. Lastly, nurse Croswell was by far the most helpful, knowledgeable, caring, and understanding medical professional I had talked to at the Cottage Grove office. He was extremely professional and listened to all of my concerns/questions and answered them in depth without rushing me off the phone.

Dr Nowlands staff is very rude. I was prescribed a fish oil for my health and it came back at 500 dollars per bottle. About 6,000 a year for fish oil. When I called the office nicely to ask what alternatives I had they said, "if you can't afford it then you have no other options." They are so rude, unprofessional it makes it very difficult to want to continue to use the doctor. However, Dr Nowland, when I did see him was great, his staff that answers the phone, Jenn his receptionist was most unhelpful, and rude.
