UCHealth Internal Medicine - Park West

I have been looking for an internal med doctor for at least two years. None are accepting patients in Pueblo. When I called about Dr. Bakkar, I was told she was accepting patients, which was a huge surprise. I went out to fill an "application" and then I heard nothing, so after a few weeks I called, only to learn that Dr. Bakkar didn't accept me as her patient. She is a participating provider in my plan and I have no idea what her criteria is for determining a patient is worthy of her service. It seems unethical.

Dr. Kowalis is the most fun, laid back, yet up to date on the latest educational studies... I wish everyone I know could have her as their doc. I see people struggling with their PCPs and I feel bad that they don't have Dr. Kowalis as their doc. If she would only work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, we could maybe save the world!!! She would have to clone herself many times.

Dr. Kowalis and staff are the best in the Pueblo area. Dr. Kowalis and staff are the "gems" in my opinion. Dr. Kowalis never makes me feel rushed and is very thorough at each visit. I could not ask for a better physician.

I like Dr. McCaffrey , she is an excellent doctor that takes time to listen and answers questions. She makes you feel comfortable when having to go for an appointment. I like the doctor and the staff in this office they are the best.

Dr. Coffey and the associates at this medical facility all seem very qualified and genuine in their profession. I am very grateful to Dr. Coffey and all who help to keep me safe and healthy!
