UCHealth - James A. McReynolds MD

Dr McReynolds is good dr with big heart but His office Staff need a lot to learn or get different job mainly office menager Teresa ( very unpleasant and impolite). I do not give bad reviews at all ever but this time I decide to report it to patient advocate.

This review is directed at the support staff only. I called to make appointment for my mother who is 98 yrs old with heart issues and was concerned with persistent chest congestion. I sat on hold for just under one hour. When the nurse came on the phone she stated I could not make an appointment without Dr. Reynolds ok. She said I would get a call later that day. The call never came. Is this what patient care is coming to?

Dr mc Reynolds has been my Dr for 11 yrs. I am extremely happy with him. He takes the time to listen to you and I have complete trust in his capabilities ad a physician. Went to a Dr closer to where I moved for a problem and he completely misdiagnosed my illness and put me on medication that wasn't needed. Went back to Dr Mc Reynolds, and after listening to me diagnosed my illness correctly which didn't require meds at all. This is just one of the readons I drive 2 hours to see him. He's great.

He was rude and condescending. Being in the medical field I feel respect is 2 way. He blantenly told me how overweight I was insurance would cover a gastric bypass vs a breast reduction. Tell me Dr's are Not the brother to car salesman!!! Are there any good empathetic medical caretakers left in this crazy world??

Dr. McReynolds is awesome! He cares about his patients. I had all but given up on myself and he still believed in me. My health is improving every day by following his orders. Thank You Dr. McReynolds, don't know what I'd do without you!
