I am a new patient of Dr Herod and chose him because of the outstanding medical schools and residency/fellowship programs he attended. You have to be excellent to get into John Hopkins, Duke and Yale. He also has a caring bedside manner and listened to my concerns. He immediately detected an issue that had previously been undiagnosed and educated me on why more tests are needed so we can plan appropriate treatment. I feel I will receive excellent care from Dr Herod.
Dealing with cardiac issues is traumatic at best especially when you believe you are healthy for the most part. Dr. Herod and his staff haven taken the time to explain the specifics of my health and empower me to be an active participant in my plan moving forward. What is especially important to me and supported by Dr.Herod is not living life to avoid stroke/heart attack but rather living a quality life in full while taking precautions to lower my risks.
