Dr Bateman was the consummate professional to every degree. I could not have been more satisfied with her bedside presence - her directness and explanations and, of course, her work as a surgeon. If I could give Dr. Bateman 1,000 stars for being extraordinarily fantastic at her job, I would. First and foremost, she saved my life by finding a blood clot that had formed in my heart. She cares deeply about all of her patients. She's smart as a whip. She pays attention to every bit of data she can get her hands on. She listens. She encourages. She goes the extra mile for every single patient. She's the best thing that happened to me after one of the worst things that happened to me.
Dr Bateman was very understanding and showed me exactly what was wrong with my heart and that was the issue I have been having. I like the fact she took time and listened to me and what I was feeling and took enough interest in my side and looked over my ct and realize the issue and address it. Dr Bateman will be my cardiologist from here on out cause my other one would not listen to what I was feeling and telling me it was something other than my heart and I knew better cause I have been through this 12 other times.
