Boone Heart Institute

I want to share my experience with the Boone Heart Institute. I started over a quarter of a century ago. When I was unable to walk and needed by pass surgery according to the other Cardiologists. Dr. Boone taught me how to improve my walking ability and eat correctly, etc. we have come a long way together. And now I live in Florida and come to Denver to see my cardiologist Dr. Boone.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Boone Heart Institute. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with such care, professionalism, and respect. The entire team--from the front desk to the medical staff--goes above and beyond to make patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their care. My doctor is truly exceptional: knowledgeable, compassionate, and incredibly attentive. They took the time to listen, answer every question, and ensure I fully understood my treatment options. It's clear they are passionate about their work and deeply committed to patient health and well-being. Boone Heart Institute sets the standard for what outstanding medical care should be. I'm beyond grateful for everything they've done for me and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for top-tier cardiovascular care.

I was referred to this company by a professional trainer that swears by their services. I signed up for an executive physical program. What you can expect, they have you upload a TON of information to a portal that is new to this company (1 year old I was told). You go in for labs that they claim are with Quest and/or LabCorp. This is not entirely true. They actually do labs with an outfit called CHL labs where you get an 18 page report of your markers. It does not integrate with LabCorp or Quest at all. There is no way to manually get it in their portal either. So if you are a person that believes in making drug recommendations and long-term treatment on TRENDS...this is not something that Boone Heart Lab does. They are big time Statin drug pushers. They believe LDL-C should be Zero. This is a very aggressive approach to medicine IMHO. They are anti-carnivore diet. Their technology is brutal. They require you to sign up for a minimum of 1 year. If you want to exit early you owe them however many months shy you are (effectively paying the remainder of the term out...for no services rendered). They have MANY wonderful employees that work there. I was impressed by many. I love that they preform tests that are not covered by insurance and think a CCTA ($2,400 extra cost to the above) is super valuable. They have an In Body machine that you get data from on visceral fat at every visit. That is great. Overall...I might recommend you go to them for a CCTA only. Their doctors are HUGE drug pushers based on one blood draw and you (as a patient) really need to advocate for them taking a look at trends. When you give them materials, they will look at it in your current meeting, if you complain enough, but then you have to go through the same annoying process the next visit as their system doesn't track trends. I have had two other concierge doctors (one in past that was great that tracked trends over time and one currently that is also A+). She does not have the CCTA equipment or stress test equipment that they do, so I gave it a whirl. The $795 (~10K) was a waste of money and now I have all sorts of absurd documentation in my medical file that I do not believe represents reality. It is an exaggeration to again push drugs. If you are young and ever need any insurance products (life, disability or otherwise) you will likely be uninsurable with these companies after a visit with a company (like Boone) that is run this way. Disappointed.

Everyone at the Boone heart Institute is incredibly professional and exceptional. Over many years, Dr. Boone has created a practice that has made me feel empowered to constantly move forward on my health journey. Dr. Fox is a wonderful addition to the team and her knowledge of internal medicine and hormone therapies has been extremely helpful on my health journey.

Boone Heart has specialists that cover all aspects of one's health. Working with Dr Fadl and his assistant Sabrina Pow has been efficient, professional, and spot on in ticking off heart health issues. Always prepared and thorough, Dr Fadl highlights the areas of testing that have improved but also shows areas that need improvement and then addresses how to make improvements. That speaks to his ongoing commitment to helping us feel better and more robust! Thank you!
