I went in for an echocardiogram and had a wonderful experience. Molly was the tech who did the ultrasound and she made me feel so comfortable. She explained everything we were looking at on the screen and was super knowledgeable on everything cardio related. My results were given to me through the portal the same day. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Scheduled a stress echo based on a visit 1yr prior because I was still having chest pain/sensations. Waited 2 weeks to get in for it because I wanted to avoid the ER by any means necessary and the evening before they cancelled it on me stating it had been more than one year since I saw the Dr. It was 1yr and 1 week... no exaggeration. I wanted to get in while I was having symptoms and they instead wanted another $300 exam a week later before letting me get a simple test. Us patients are all well aware we can go to the ER in an emergency, but this was an opportunity for me to get a test while having symptoms which I was previously told were no cause for concern by their team the year before. They literally stopped me from getting preventative care. Why? How does that benefit a patient? This is no different than any other UC Health center. Fancy buildings but Careless and mindless experience overall. Had our baby at the HR hospital and they gouged us $8k for some new ER scam of theirs. Look it up in the news. Go anywhere but UC Health.

Had a terrible experience here. Very poor bedside manner. Doctor Pinkhasova was extremely cold and just rude...didn't take time to explain things to me-told me my results were okay but report shows signs of LVH.... The office itself (not the call center) is impossible to get hold of and when you do it's all terrible communication.... Don't even bother sending messages through the portal. Rather than setting expectations about the response time being affected due to a busy time, they just drop the ball. Haven't had such a disappointing experience with a clinic and that's saying something in today's day. I sure hope for the sake of their other patients that the office turns itself around.

One star for a different doctor that I've never met, that's been amazingly communicative. I rescheduled with a different provider because the initial appointment got canceled by the doctor due to sickness. I saw PA Erin Deboer and wow. I've worked in healthcare for a very long time and I've hardly ever met a provider like PA Deboer. And not in a good way. From badmouthing my psychiatrist, to badmouthing dentists, accusing them of wanting to "pawn off responsibility" when I asked if it was safe to take the Beta-blocker my psychiatrist prescribed (he wanted me to double check with them; and I understand that a provider cannot sign off on another provider's RX, but there was no need to lecture and accuse them). She clearly does not understand that medicine should be a collaborative team effort between different physicians. She then lectured me for 30 minutes (made a joke that she gets paid for "clicking buttons" on the computer), and she basically shot everything down I told her. Extremely disappointed. It should be The Patient + the provider Vs. The Problem and not Provider Vs. Patient. When I asked her what I can do to help my cholesterol levels, A1C and my heart, she said "Could we all lose 5-7lbs? Absolutely. Would that help? Absolutely." I am 5'4, 125lbs.... I am also not a cardiologist, nor is English my native language. When I told her that I had a congenital heart defect, she asked if I knew which one. I said "Patent something something." (It was notated in my chart by the way). She laughed at me and said "Well, this could mean anything." Awesome. She knew when I told her the abbreviation (the only thing I was able to remember and pronounce, really). It sounded like she stuck to a script. She talked majority of the appointment. The only good thing that happened is an order for further testing.

I was referred to Dr. Parmar, after visiting the ER with chest pains. I almost cancelled my appointment 4 weeks later because I thought I had a "fake heart attack" that didn't justify a follow up....Dr. Parmar discovered a few irregularities during my exam and scheduled a stress test with echo for the following week - to be conducted right on site. Dr. Parmar has a dynamic duo administering these tests. Cyril and Madeline took me through the process with tender loving care and I'm SO grateful for their expertise and authentic consideration. This entire practice is moving soon to Steadmend Hawkins off I25 which is another great reason to schedule an appointment:)
