dec 26- 4am only 1 nurse on staff so only 4 patients allowed into treatment rooms. Dr Sooch cant see you in the back so HE CAME OUT TO US to talk in waiting room. Total privacy was provided but knowing his team's facility limits, he worked with us to cut wait time for care.
If I could give this moron a negative rating, I would. 6 years ago, I went into the ER with severe chest pains. He did an EKG and said I was fine. Just suffering with altitude sickness. His nurse, moron squared, said my shortness of breath was caused by me hyperventilating for no reason and I needed to man up and breathe properly. My wife refused to put up with their opinions and forced them to call the on-call cardiologist. Dr Taylor, the. Cardiologist, did a blood test and found elevated levels of heart enzymes. She then did an angiogram and found out I had a massive heart attack. Only 1 functioning artery of the 3. One blocked at 100% and the other at 80%. An emergency surgery later, and i have had 6 more years to spend with my family and friends ... And counting. No thanks to this moron and his moron nurse.
I have never been threatened by a doctor before... This man is rude and confrontational.. My brother came in with severe abdominal pain and the doctor not introducing himself launched into a tirade of questions concerning drug use and alcoholism, none of which my brother does. When I questioned the doctor to why I was told I have an aside and he could get it taken care of for me... Really!!!! Unacceptable.. this men should not be allowed to practice medicine
Best ER doctor we randomly run into, we had a situation with our daughter and he provided guidance and diagnosis in a very calm and professional manner. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews here, maybe it has something to do with everything other than medicine?
I've had two experiences with this man in the last five years and been left both mentally and physically scarred. He's dismissive to the point of malpractice and has a real disdain for women. Pick literally any other doctor and if you are unlucky enough to end up with him at Penrose or St Francis, DEMAND another doctor.
