Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital

I was extremely disappointed in my experience. I understand the hospital is under construction but you are under staffed and lacking basic equipment like gurneys. My nurse didn't even have the correct needle gauge to try and draw blood. The hospital bed was almost too large to fit through the operating room door so we bounced around and hit the door frame. The surgical nurse pushed the oxygen mask down on my face My nostrils and I felt like I couldn't breathe. The anesthesiologist was really nice and he took the time to listen to my questions and to talk to me as I was very anxious going into surgery. When I woke up in recovery, I was asked if I wanted to wake up and get ready to go home or to sleep longer and I said I wanted to get up to go home. Nobody had called my husband to let them know that I was even out of surgery or that I was able to be picked up I was the first person to contact my husband. He told me he was on his way then the nurse called and he told her the same thing and she wheeled me outside and he wasn't even there yet. Thankfully, she took me inside to wait. We didn't speak to the surgeon. We had really no discharge direction as to whether to elevate my leg what I couldn't couldn't do other than that I was able to walk and that they would go over everything, including what happened during surgery at my postop appointment, which is in two weeks. I can't imagine how overworked the nurses are and how frustrating it is to work in a construction zone, but I really would've liked to have received some information about what they even did during the surgery and what I shouldn't shouldn't do when I got home I also really would've liked for someone to have called my husband when they got me out of surgery like we were told that they would

From the moment i stepped in the hospital for my hip surgery the staff was amazing. Jen the nurse is AMAZING!! she did my IV and it felt like a feather, i didn't feel a thing. The surgeon(Dr. Robinson), the Anesthelogist, my 2 surgey nurses and Darin my nurse. I didn't feel the epideral at all. The hospital was so clesn and calming. I can't say enough about the hospital and staff. Thank you for treating me so well

I arrived at the emergency room at Inland Valley Hospital, Wildomar after both my blood pressure and heart rate dropped. I'm a 76 years old man and upon arrival I was immediately attended to by ER staff. Everyone was great and attentive to my condition and needs, especially Jacob who checked on me often as I waited for a room after being admitted. My room was in 33B and I met a number of great people who provided care for me during my two day stay in the hospital. Everyone was friendly courteous and efficient, always explaining to me exactly what they were doing and asking if there was anything that I needed before they left my bedside. When shifts changed, the outgoing staff would come notify me and introduce me to the person taking their place and again asking if there was anything I needed. I reiterate everyone was great in monitoring my vitals and attending to my needs and comfort. However there were those who were standouts in my care and they are Monette, Frank and Calli O. These three people provided excellent care with compassion, respect and a friendly attitude making me feel as if I was receiving care from a family member. I was under Calli O's care for two days and she was fantastic always checking in on me often and also during "comfort rounds" each time explaining to me what comfort rounds were and checking my chart and each time asking me if there was anything I needed. I really felt lucky to have had her as my guardian angel during my stay. Steven Ingle

First visit was easy and quick but it was really early and a good time to go because the lobby was empty. The second visit was long but I understand priority goes to those who need it more. Waited 4. 1/2 hours but the lobby was full when I got there and left. The doctors were great though and staff is friendly and helpful. I always get treated with respect and empathy when I go here. They take care of the issues on hand. Give you answers and peace of mind. I went in this last time due to a concussion . I was not familiar with the symptoms and the doctor explained it to me thoroughly . Thank you Southwest doctors and staff. Keep up the good work !

This is my second experience with the out patient surgery center. They are extremely efficient with a great system with minimal wait time. The staff beginning with the admitting clerk to the surgical nurse are very courteous, caring, and compassionate. Surgery is always stressful and having people that understand that is so nice!
