The doctor seems fine, but the staff doesn't seem to care. Hard to make appointments. Waiting over a month for referral to get an ultrasound of legs. It can back showing boodflow problem. But they didn't call. I called to make an appointment another month. Now to get treatment we will see how long till they return my call. I'm in a lot of pain a times.

Five weeks ago, I underwent carotid surgery by Dr. Amit Karmur. First, I am grateful to God to have had him as my surgeon. Besides his smile when he greets you, his display of professionalism & high standards for surgery would be a welcome to anyone in need of a vascular surgeon. I couldn't be more pleased to provide an excellent review. His team's (office, pre-op & op team) have all gone above & beyond my expectations. Like Dr. Karmur, he surrounds himself with the best people to assist him in caring for his patients. On my visits, Dr. Karmur explained my options, including the details & possible outcomes. He did not hold back any concerns & willingly let me know how he proceeds if something comes up during surgery. He is very straight forward, but has a kind & caring heart. On the day of surgery, I was surprised at the care I received at the hospital (Temecula Valley). People were so organized & prepared to help me in any way they could, so I could feel secure & comfortable under the circumstances. The procedures set in place for surgery needs to be commended, as the head nurse goes down a checklist verifying everything has been done & they are prepared for Dr. Karmur to do the surgery. I had to laugh because I was so impressed by how orderly everyone & everything ran. How good is this? Personally, I believe this is a reflection on the kind of person Dr. Karmur is. He takes being a doctor serious and wants the best for his patient & their family. Lastly, he & his staff were very attentive to my daughter while she waited the duration of the surgery, which was hours. I have told people this story because it really was a memorable day for me. I was blessed to find Dr. Karmur & I highly recommend him if you need vascular surgery of any kind.

Dr. Karmur is an excellent surgeon. My husband underwent combined endarterectomy/CABG surgeries with two separate surgical teams in February and is home and improving daily. Although the dual surgeries were complicated Dr. Karmur was "all in". Originally admitted to the hospital with a 90+% blocked carotid artery things evolved. After additional testing revealed significant blockage in all the major vessels in his heart it was determined that the best course of action would be to combine the surgeries. This meant that instead of placing a stent Dr. Karmur would have to open the artery and scrape the plaque, a risky, complicated procedure. Because of his exceptional skills everything went well. We will be forever grateful to Dr. Karmur and his team.

I Highly recommend Dr Karmur. He was very professional and personal from my first visit, surgery, and follow up after my surgery. He explained everything leading up to and through out my surgery. He performed my TCAR procedure and inserting a stent in my carotid artery. The surgery went perfectly. Thank you Dr. Karmur.

I could not ask for a better Dr than Dr Karmur he is very knowledgeable, caring, friendly and kind, I had only met Dr Karmur once before my procedure so going in I was very nervous, right away Dr Karmur put me at ease, he explained everything so that I could feel comfortable, he made my procedure a pleasant experience, there was no pain, and he handled my procedure with care and it was quick and easy, his staff is wonderful too! Like him they are friendly caring and understanding, actually I had a nice time while having my procedure done, they were just awesome and so was Dr Karmur, I highly recommend Dr Karmur he is wonderful and his staff is what every Drs office staff should be, I can never thank Dr Karmur and his staff enough for a truly wonderful experience getting my procedure done.
