This doctor saved my health and quality of life . I had a very complex Gerd and hernia complication . He is the nicest doctor and the best so lucky he's here at oroville hospital . Very happy with him he's a wonderful doctor I recommend to everyone ! He's the best thoracic surgeon.

Dr Tsai successfully performed robotic/laparoscopic surgery to correct an incredibly complex hiatal hernia and advanced GERD. My situation was about as bad as it can get. He literally saved my life and restored my health. He is incredibly skilled and truly cares about his patients and their health. His entire team at John Muir and at his BASS office are the best. I am so grateful. He is THE doctor to see for these issues.

I've had two surgeries with Dr. Tsai and I'm now 5 years out from the second surgery. He was as close to perfect as a doctor/human could possibly be in his role. He gave me a new life and I am so grateful. From start to finish he was great, and I wasn't the easiest situation.

No pain control for my mom after we discussed safe surrender of weaker pain medicine that didn't take into account the "red head gene" she has. After ignoring us for weeks he waffled between saying crushed and inflamed lungs with low oxygen saturation and lots of pain were normal and she should just be fine with it to saying it had nothing to do with her surgery and he didn't have to treat her. In the end called me her power of attorney an addict and hung up on me after I offered to take a drug test and let him talk to the pharmacist I turned the original medicine over to. Basically left us stranded after major surgery and complications.
