Dr. Prem Sahasranam, MD ( Central Valley Endocrinology APC)

Cancel's absolutely way too much, doesn't see patients in person, only if you're a new patient or diabetic, he will see you in person. The rest are over the phone and it is a total nightmare. Since I've started with him, I've gotten wrong dosages and they're basing my dosages off of old labs instead of current lab work. I never really speak Mr. Sahas because he has his student/ residence SD's speaking to me, every time we speak. So I never really speak with Mr. Sahas on my appointment days, and he schedules my appointments way far out, making it impossible to get updated answers. Life's miserable when you keep getting the wrong dosages and appointments that go on for months of waiting to get an answer. Can anyone recommend a better endocrinologist?

What a thoughtful caring Doctor. I had been having chest pain for over a year, had seen a cardiologist who said i was fine, constantly in and out of ER always told it was anxiety. So I thought maybe it was thyroid or that I was crazy. Dr. Sahasranam suspected something wasn't right and sent me to ER requesting an angiogram be done. Cardiologist Dr. REDDY (Also fantastic) did the procedure and discovered I had a myocardial Bridge causing these problems. If it wasn't for Dr. Sahasranam's genuine concern I don't know how much longer I would have suffered. Thank you so much Doctor

i've been with Dr Sahas for 23 years and always believed i was in the best care, until now. when i go to my appointments he is in room with me no more than 3 mins. he doesn't explain my labs and i have to check on my own prescriptions. the older recipients were better like Patty and JoAnna. but these new ones are horrible. So my faith in Dr Sahas is gone. i'm going through medical problems and i feel like it's from neglect. Personally Dr Sahas is a nice man but that's not enough, i need care i need answers not a pat on the back. All i needed from him was answer and i little more of his time. He he has way to much patience, i know the money is good , but his patience should be first priority. Just not in this world. i pray that god will provide me with a solution.

I have been in Dr Sahas care for years. He is very experienced in treating many health issues. I had visited many different doctors but my health issues were getting worse. Then I was referred to Dr Sahas and after a couple of visits and tests I began to feel better. Now my health problem is managed thanks to Dr. Sahas. Dr Sahas always greets you by name and shakes your hand. He takes the time to not just treat your illness but takes the time to ask how you are doing. He makes sure all questions are answered and all tests are ordered and completed. He is a great doctor and I recommend him. Once in his care your health also will improve.

Dr. Sahas is a very competent and intelligent Doctor! He has helped guide me back to good health. He has a kind a courteous staff! Be prepared to wait awhile during your visit. I choose to usually take one of the first morning appointments available to minimize that issue. But honestly, I would rather have to wait for a quality doctor to evaluate me as is Dr. Sahas, then not!
