Dr. Venkat R. Devineni, MD

He is a patient cardiologist and gets right to the point. He doesn't have you sitting and guessing. He tells you what's next and sets you up to do the work. He set me up for 3 appts in July and it was 1 a week, but I was fine with that because it's best to be checked. The staff are friendly yet professional. I've never been to a cardiologist before but this office is very nice.

I like the ceiling with nice pictures of the sky and birds in the lobby. But sorry to say. I am sooo disappointed. The office is not professional! They canceled the appointment today (July 3, 2025) when I had already arrived at the office without notifying me beforehand. The girl at the front desk claimed that the department had called me three times yesterday, but I didn't receive any missed calls. I even showed her my phone to prove there were no calls from them. She's a witness! After that, I called the department and they were dishonest (BIG LIAR). They said they tried calling me three times today and asked me to reschedule the appointment. I'm flexible with rescheduling, but it's about the way they treat patients and the dishonesty. The girl said it happened yesterday, but the department said it happened today. Double lies! It's not easy for me to come over there; I had to ask for a Lyft ride. And they made it easy by saying the appointment was canceled because the doctor wasn't there. What?! And lied about it too! I am so disappointed and upset. I don't want to go there anymore. I'm tired of situations like this.

We love having Dr. Devineni as our cardiologist. I do not have heart problems so have only seen him a few times for myself. My husband sees him more frequently and we are in weekly contact with his office. He has so much patience and kindness and is an excellent doctor. His care and concern for his patients is so obvious when he speaks with you. We are blessed to have him as our doctor and we want to thank Dr. Devineni, Teresa and the entire staff for their excellent care.

I was just about to give up on this doctor. Dr. Devineni has been trying to get Loma Linda to do the testing for my heart for months. At my appointment, I let him know that once again Loma Linda has not called and my primary has had to step in and start treatment. He got on the phone right there and talked to the head of cardio at Loma Linda and sent out a text to them and their office manager to expedite testing. Grateful to see a doctor that actually cares for their patient and to see him advocate.

Dr. Devineni is GREAT! Front desk and medical staff were friendly. CAUTION though, office staff (billing dept) is RUDE and does NOT put the customer first when it comes to service, respect, and just doing what's right. WARNING, you WILL be overcharged so check with your insurance concerning your out of pocket cost prior to being seen. You WILL have to fight with them to get your overpayment back. They will not initiate contact with you, it will take several attempts on YOUR part to get your money back, and they will not credit the card charged or mail a check- you will be inconvenienced and have to go to their office to physically pick up the check (as if I WANT to encounter them again)!
