This WAS always my favorite hospital. I had all three of my now adult kids here. Dad was recently there and it was not so good. The staff in the ER were great! He got moved upstairs to 7East and was basically unconscious and unable to walk or talk. The first morning after admission he had a "bed sore" we didn't see it but I'm sure it was a rash from not being changed. They decided at 8 o'clock at night to transfer him to a transitional care center, no big deal...if they had let his wife and medical proxy know. They rushed him out before his issues were under control. She went to visit him at Torrance Memorial the next morning and no one could find him or where he went. This makes no sense, when he's unable to make decisions himself. Finally they figured out where they took him. As she was worried he may have passed and was not told. Upsetting experiences.

My experience was absolutely wonderful. Please allow me to expound a bit: Torrance Memorial Hospital is the BEST!!! Their Par-Excellent Team of Medical Professionals must be commended. I was extremely fatigued in addition to fatigueness from the need for emergency care. Post CHURCH, then URGENT CARE and then straight over to EMERGENCY for further testing. They took excellent care of me. Literally, from Intake Personnel to the doctor & every single nurse and nurse assistant that touched me blessed me with kind words of comfort. Assuring me that I was in the best of care. I cannot even recall their names. Sadly, it has taken me several days to give a review. But, I could not rest well until I could highlight. They were absolutely fantastic. I would give this hospital's staff "100+" if at all possible. They undoubtedly deserve it. Forever grateful thank you ALL so very much

I recently gave birth at Torrance Memorial, and I'm so grateful for the wonderful care I received. Everyone I encountered - from the front desk staff, prenatal nurses, anesthesiologist, doctors, to the postpartum nurses - was professional, kind, and supportive.
A very special thank you to my prenatal nurse, Mia Mavromichalis. She was incredibly patient, highly professional, and guided me step by step through the process, making sure I felt safe and confident for a smooth, natural delivery. Her sense of humor also helped ease my nerves during such an intense time.
Thank you to the entire team for making this important experience such a positive and reassuring one.

I recently gave birth at Torrance Memorial Medical Center, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible care I received. From the moment I arrived, the Labor and Delivery team made me feel supported, cared for, and truly listened to.
I want to give a special thank you to Nurse Kim and Nurse Morgan, whose compassion and expertise made all the difference during labor. Nurse Morgan was especially professional, guiding me through every step to ensure I had a smooth and natural birth. Her clear communication and calm demeanor empowered me during the entire process. I will forever be grateful for both of their expertise and kindness.
Dr. Kenneth E. Holliman was also wonderful throughout my delivery. His calm presence and expert care made me feel at ease and confident knowing I was in good hands.
Additionally, the nurses in the Mummy and Baby department provided excellent postpartum care. They went above and beyond to ensure both my baby and I were comfortable and well-supported during recovery.
The entire team made my experience at Torrance Memorial exceptional. I'm deeply appreciative of the outstanding care I received and would highly recommend their Labor and Delivery department!

Yoooooooo this hospital cafeteria food is actually BANGIN. Had to run down here as my nephew is taking his SWEET time coming out. Young king making us operate on his time, can't help but respect that.
My expectations were BEYOND low for this meal... I was expecting a premade burrito reheated in a microwave. Desperate times.
To my suprise, I ordered a breakfast burrito and saw the dude throw the eggs, sausage, and bacon fresh on the griddle and cook them right there. I couldn't believe my eyes. They also had all sorts of different salsas, hot sauces, and other condiments. Locked and LOADED.
I bit into that burrito and hit a stank face as if to say "They're making burritos this good in a hospital cafeteria?!?! DAMN!"
Pleasant surprises like this every now and then are essential to happiness. You must have peaks to counterbalance the inevitable troughs.
It was under $20 for 2 burritos too... this cafeteria whooping inflation all across the playground.
Anyways, gotta lock back in on nephew watch... take your time though Young King! The world is yours!
