Dr. Saibal Kar has been my interventional cardiologist for almost fifteen years...first at Cedars-Sinai and now at the Cardiovascular Institute of Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, CA. In 2011 he accepted me into the Mitral Valve Clip Study at Cedars-Sinai. Now Dr. Yew, a fantastic member of the dreamteam, installed a Pacemaker, but only after careful studies and evaluation. They, along with Asma Hussani, are true gift from God!
Dr. Kar had been my husband's doctor for over 15 years up until his passing in 2021 and is now my doctor. We have known Dr. Kar and Asma as doctors and personally and cherish our memories of our friendship together . Anyone who has the opportunity to have them in your lives are very blessed.
My wife and I we thank Dr. Saibal Kar for the excellent job / procedure that he provided to my wife by installing a Tavr in one of her main heart artery on September 27, 2024 at the Adventist health specialty hospital in Bakersfield CA. Dr Kar has saved my life. I have four stent in my heart. 8 years ago I had temporary stroke and right side of my body paralyzed and I fell down. Fortunately after 2 minutes I could stand up. I was referred to Dr Kar for evaluation. I was diagnosed with Arterial Septal Defect(ASD). People with an ASD have a hole between the upper heart chambers. Dr. Kar closed this hole. This was my first visit with Dr. Kar. I have undergone four additional procedure to open up and placing 4 stent in my heart arteries. Dr. Kar is exceptional. I wish I could have given him 20 stars. While Dr. Kar was unable to make the appointment, his assistants were extremely helpful. One negative point is the quality of their printer. Of the page I specifically requested a copy of, had I not seen the device I may be getting in the original publication, in my copy it was indiscernible and all the print pages faded to the center of the page to near invisibility.
