Los Robles hospital completely saved my life. I had a severely ruptured appendix when I arrived on Monday morning, And they swept me up did surgery that evening with Dr. Swaroop Who performed surgery on me and did an incredible job and they kept me in the hospital for five nights that's how bad the infection was raging inside me that she saved me from along with the incredible Care at the emergency room to get me upstairs and keep me alive. I'm incredibly grateful to this hospital for their care, their thoughtfulness all the nursing crew, Tyler, etc...... The most excellent nursing staff EVER. I owe this hospital, my life, and for that I will always be eternally grateful to all of them. Thank you, Los Robles!!!!!! Love, Tracy Testin

I had a surgical procedure and I was very thankful for all the staff who care for me. Nurse Elissa in Preop was so kind and efficient. She started a great IV on the first try and she had excellent bedside manner. My OR nurse Sita was so kind and she educated me about what to expect and took great care of me -I felt cared for. My PostOp nurse Leah was wonderful. The nurses in surgical services deserve high praise (and probably a raise). Lauren

I delivered our first baby at Los Robles. I had never been admitted to a hospital before and was a little apprehensive about the whole thing. I was taken in through the ER since it was after hours and the staff there were very kind and helped get me admitted into the Labor & Delivery unit where I was handled with sweet care, the nurses explained everything that would be happening and made sure I was comfortable/had everything I needed for my 2 hour observation time.
Once I was admitted, everything flowed smoothly and the staff kept me updated with everything that would/could happen. Eileen was our main L&D nurse for the whole day. She took the best care of me as I got my epidural, helped reposition me periodically, made sure I was comfortable, was very kind to my husband, and was an encouraging coach to me during the delivery. Hands down the best care I could've gotten during the biggest day of my life.
My postpartum care was mostly with Brittany, who was super supportive and cheerful. She showed us how to take care of our newborn and helped so much with my own recovery.
Also- shoutout to Casey for helping me through life's most vulnerable times after delivery while my epidural was still wearing off. Angel.
All of the lactation consultants were amazing and had different pieces of advice to offer. The pediatrician, Dr Evans, was great and so down to earth.
5 stars! So glad we chose to work with Dr Ghausi that led us to Los Robles and the incredible staff and facilities! Thank you!

My 86-years old mom:
8 hours in ER...delivered to ICU at 4am
Surgeon discussed pacemaker options with us. After discussion, all agreed to do the leadless option.
Different "Cardiologist" came in to "educate me" on why the other option was better and more reliable.
Surgeon came in and said we were going to do the old school option...that it would work too. Had us sign a consent.
ICU promised to send her back to ICU or CCU after surgery. Instead she was sent to "the floor." At 11:30pm food was requested by me. I left the hospital at midnight. Food had not arrived but was promised.
Surgery was found to have failed at 7am the next morning, and she was moved to CCU. I was never informed. I arrived at 9:30am on 12/12 to find her missing from the room I left her in the night before. Concierge had no idea she was moved. I found her in CCU where surgeon showed up to tell me surgery had failed. I asked why the old school method was done, after we had agreed on the groin method. Surgeon stated that the OR was available and he couldn't do the groin method in the OR...only in the catheter lab, which wasn't available. I asked if that method was done out of hospital convenience, rather than what was in patient's best interest. Surgeon confirmed.
CCU nurse stated she would be returned to the CCU after surgery. This again was not the case. She was returned to "the floor." By this time she had been denied any food or water for 50 hours. Doctor stated she now has low sodium, and was dehydrated...so he was now ordering fluids. Fluids did not show up for over an hour. I had to ask 3 times for something for her to eat. Kitchen later stated that they received the order but it wasn't meal time. Kitchen stated they called the room to let us know. Not true. Nobody ever called.
Nurse brought in yogurt, some cheese and ensure. A formal complaint will be filed.

The outpatient procedure I had is not generally offered in a free standing radiology location. Therefore I needed to go to the medical center. My experience was wonderful. Easy to do and I understood every aspect of what was being done to me. I wish the lobby was more comfortable because I had to be there for two hours waiting between tests. It was cold, the seats are not comfortable for any long wait. But otherwise, the staff and procedure was handled professionally.
