Had to pleasure of Dr Venkatesh's care, after my fiance had a cardiac event at a nearby hospital that was ill-equipped to deal with her issue. Over speakerphone, we witnessed him calmly and methodically diagnose the issue. It was extremely impressive. He answered the attending's questions, quarterbacked the appropriate next steps and interventions. Everything he said ended up being accurate and the transition was safe and successful. Then he stopped by bedside and spent 30+ minutes, talking us through everything in detail. He took the time, he cared, he was extremely polite and detail-orientated. Cannot speak more highly of him and feel very lucky to have found such a fantastic adult congenital cardiologist. He and Dr. Rose Tompkins at Cedars Sinai are truly the A Team, both in terms of expertise and quality of care.
